What is Little CEOs Foundation?

Little CEOs Foundation is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 certified organization, cofounded by parent volunteers to ignite the spark of entrepreneurship within little kids. Our goal is to turn your little ones into Little CEOs by teaching them the basics of entrepreneurship, not necessarily being taught in schools, and help them put that knowledge to practical use by helping them launch their very own business.

The seeds of Little CEOs Foundation were laid a couple years ago with the introduction of Loudoun's first ever Children's Business Fair in 2022. The fair was a roaring success, so much so that we doubled our size the next year in 2023. With over 400 kids participating and over 125 businesses, the fair has inspired many to become entrepreneurs.

Seeing the immense outpour of love and support, we are now launching the Little CEOs Foundation to bring more resources and entrepreneurship programs to the kids that are interested in learning more about becoming entrepreneurs.

We are the same team but now with a bigger mission!!!

What is LCBF?

LCBF stands for Loudoun Children's Business Fair.

We are a not-for-profit organization, run by a group of parent-volunteers, whose aim is to ignite and nurture the spark of entrepreneurship within the next generation.

LCBF started with the intention of doing a small project between friends to teach our kids a little about business and entrepreneurship. Our initial expectation was no more than setting up a couple 'Lemonade Stands' in our neighborhood. Little did we know that our county is full of dreamers and entrepreneurs, with an amazing thirst for entrepreneurship.

The demand quickly exceeded our expectations with an outpouring of applications and we saw a great need for a platform where kids can think outside the box and showcase their talents.

Entrepreneurs at heart ourselves, we quickly formed the Loudoun Children's Business Fair and the rest as they say is history.

Our Story

The Loudoun Children’s Business fair was started as a passion project of a few parent-entrepreneurs looking to pass on some knowlegdge to the next gen.

What is Acton

In 2007 Jeff and Laura Sandefer wanted to spark a sense of wonder and entrepreneurship in their children. With the help of a few other families, they created the first Acton Children's Business Fair in Austin, Texas. The Sandefer's enjoyed their first Children's Business Fair so much, they knew they had to share it. The Acton Children’s Business fair is a gift from the Sandefer family, who founded the non-profit Acton Academy network, for young entrepreneurs around the world.
